“I hope my artwork inspires young readers to explore, observe, and protect the beautiful world around us.”
From my earliest days helping my mother plant tulips and gather flower seeds, I've always felt a deep connection to nature. Though I live worlds away from Arches National Park, I spent countless hours studying photos and videos of its magnificent stone arches to bring them to life on these pages. Each illustration begins as a tiny sketch, growing like a seed into a colorful story that captures the wonder of the natural world.
Whether I'm drawing the towering arches of Utah or the delicate petals of garden flowers, I hope my artwork inspires young readers to explore, observe, and protect the beautiful world around us. After all, I believe that when children connect with nature early in life, it plants the seeds for a lifetime of curiosity and care for our environment.
Just as every garden needs tender loving care to flourish, each page in this book was
carefully crafted - from the first pencil marks to the final splash of color. Through my illustrations, I'm inviting you to join me in discovering the amazing connections between plants, animals, and the places they call home.
