Brooke Noelle

Montana watercolor artist and graphic designer

“I hope these paintings encourage readers to slow down, look closely, and appreciate Yellowstone’s amazing places and creatures.”

Hi! I’m Brooke, a Montana artist and graphic designer with a deep love for the outdoors and the wild places that inspire me. Watercolor is my favorite way to bring those places to life. I love the way paint can flow and blend to capture the colors, textures, and little details found in nature, from a Yellowstone landscape to the feathers of a bird or the scales of a trout.

When I’m not painting, you’ll often find me fly fishing, hiking, camping, or exploring Yellowstone with my family. Living in Montana has given me so many opportunities to observe wildlife and experience the landscapes I love to paint.

Creating the illustrations for this book has been a special opportunity to combine my love of watercolor, wildlife, and Yellowstone. I hope these paintings encourage readers to slow down, look closely at the world around them, and develop their own appreciation for the amazing places and creatures that make Yellowstone so special.
