Meet the Illustrator - Andrea esquivel

Since I was a little girl, I've loved nature. I remember planting marigold seeds in the garden and growing them year after year.

The house was always full of different kinds of pets: dogs, cats, canaries, lovebirds, hamsters, etc., and I used to make comics about their stories and antics.

Drawing has been a part of me since a very young age too!

Through drawing. I can not only capture my ideas, but also understand my surroundings: the shapes, colors, movements... This is how I'm filling the pages of the book "Hot Springs"a National Park located in Arkansas, with beautiful details.

Each illustration is filled with love and dedication. I hope you enjoy reading this book as much as I enjoyed illustrating it.
